Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Compensation: $17-18/hour based on experience

Job Summary

Our Housekeeping Team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire resort with an attention to detail. Housekeeping Supervisors work diligently to inspect all guest rooms on a daily basis, while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

§ Create morning room assignments to ensure all rooms are accounted for in accordance with resort cleanliness expectations

§ Oversee the activities of Housekeepers to maintain company productivity goals

§ Inspect all guest rooms to four star standards with the upmost attention to detail

§ Checks any vacant rooms for condition and possible occupancy, reporting any discrepancies to Management.

§ Maintain good time management by completing tasks with a sense of urgency at all times

§ Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms, as well as company and guest property

§ Consistently ensure all furniture and guest room materials are in proper location, report damage immediately

§ Ensures that all storage areas and linen closets are stocked properly and kept in a clean and satisfactory condition.

§ Actively follow safety and security procedures

§ Recognize and dispatch any maintenance items or safety hazards to the appropriate team member

§ Assist guests with questions and requests when approached by being aware of events and activities available at the resort

Requirements

§ Professional and courteous verbal communication skills

§ Ability to accurately and efficiently report information

§ Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance and work environment at all times

§ Physical stamina and mobility, including ability to lift, reach, kneel, and/or bend for up to eight hours a day

§ Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays

§ 1+ years of cleaning experience. Experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
