We are looking for a qualified HR Director to lead a variety of human resource projects and provide fruitful human capital advice. You will help the company optimize everyday processes and implement strategic HR plans and technology.
The ideal HR Director will possess in-depth knowledge of human resource management. They will have experience in consulting as well as dealing with actual HR issues. They will be strategic thinkers and problem-solvers with excellent communication skills.
The goal is to maximize the value of our HR endeavors that will help business as a whole.
This role will be classified as a 1099. Part-time and/or hourly arrangements are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Support departments in the development and delivery of strategic HR plans to fit with the overall business direction
- Spearhead HR compliance and regulatory issues including recruiting and offboarding, performance management and compensation design
- Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities by scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, training managers to coach and discipline employees, and counseling employees and supervisors
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Handle confidential matters with discretion
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources
- 3+ years in human resources or recruitment
- Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
- Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
- In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
- Familiarity with PEOs and HR software and working knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace
- Experience working in People Ops in a startup or HR firm environment
- High ethical standards
- Understanding federal HR laws

Pay: $60,261.39 - $150,838.30 per year
