Dentive is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant for our headquarters in Provo, UT!
We're a fast-growing Dental Support Organization that is looking for an efficient Staff Accountant to join our team! You’ll be responsible for daily accounting tasks, including preparing tax documents and updating expense files. You will perform financial transactions and post them in the general ledger. You will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure attention to detail. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with the following:
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing month end reconciliations
- Review financials to ensure accuracy
- Vendor reconciliations
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Reconcile bank statements
- Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
- Organize and track fixed assets
- Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with company standards
Required Skills & Abilities
- 2+ years’ experience and general knowledge of Accounting
- Strong working knowledge of the general ledger and its relationship to financial statements
- Skilled in communicating to both internal and external customers
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, and possesses strong organizational skills
- Must be highly motivated and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and demonstrate a teamwork approach to job responsibilities
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, dependability and promptness

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
