Essential Role and Responsibilities:

• Confirm proper operation of all safety devices.
• Read and understand, Control Plans, Blueprints and all other accompanying documentation.
• Identify all major machine and secondary equipment components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Perform inspection procedures using precision measuring instruments, including comparator’s, Calipers and Micrometers as well as apply and document principles of statistical process control (SPC).
• Capable of running multiple machines and making necessary adjustments to achieve product specifications.
• Capable of identifying various types and sizes of material, requisitioning material, and loading stock onto the machine.
• Able to load ovens to strain relieve parts at the proper temperature and duration.
• All other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of CNC applications, calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read Control Plans and Blueprints.
• Basic/Intermediate Mechanical and Computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms frequently.
