2022-2023 Part-Time Student Recruiter - San Antonio, Manor, and Bastrop, TX
Job description
Student Recruiter
Your Mission
When you join the team, your core responsibility is to recruit families to the opportunities at Compass Rose Schools. Our Student Recruiters do so much more than recruiting! You are deeply connected to the community and are energized by sharing the Compass Rose Public Schools mission with families. You are the champion and storyteller of the incredible things happening in our schools. You are the “boots on the ground” who engages and builds connections with our communities so they see Compass Rose as a quality school choice for children. You are responsible for ensuring Compass Rose Public Schools is 100% enrolled at every school. You do this by fostering local interest, nurturing families from the application to the enrollment and registration stages, hosting campus-specific student recruitment events, and joining network events. Weekend or evening hours? You are there for it!
This is a part-time position eligible for bonus earning potential and will report to our Director of Student Recruitment and Enrollment.
Who would be a great Student Recruiter?
College Students. This is a great opportunity for college students interested in education, marketing, sales or just looking for a way to give back and engage with the community. This is a great way to build your resume.
Compass Rose Parents. Excited to share your Compass Rose experiences with other potential families? Join the team that recruits future students.
Effective and empathetic communicators. You aren’t “selling” an opportunity. You are bringing experiences to life so families can make well-informed educational choices. You will be speaking to diverse families about their child’s futures so you need a certain amount of empathy to relate to and understand their desires and how Compass Rose can meet those needs.
Ability to work flexible hours. This is not your average 9 to 5, sit at a desk job. If working weekends, afternoons, and evenings works best, then this role is a match for you. If being outdoors often is appealing to you as opposed to staring out a window from your desk, then we got you covered. We must meet families in communities when the time is best for them. That means in the evenings and weekends you are block walking, door knocking, attending events, making calls, and simply having a great time sharing the opportunities of Compass Rose wherever and whenever our families are available.
Why consider joining the Compass Rose Student Recruitment Team?
- Connect with like-minded individuals working hard to create equitable education opportunities for the community.
- Receiving ongoing marketing and communications training from the Student Enrollment and Recruitment team and our Marketing and Communications Teams.
- Interested in education, marketing, or community engagement? This is a good step in the door.
