Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Wilmington, NC

Experience: Journeyman experience or the completion of an apprenticeship program or 2-3 years of hands-on experience preferred

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Type: Full-time; Contract-to-hire

Schedule: To be discussed during interview

Pay: $23/hr depending on experience

Greene Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Responsible for assembling mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components during the build phase of large scale, complex machinery
• Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
• Other duties as needed

Position Requirements:

• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment
• Awareness of national, state, and local safety codes and regulations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions
• Extreme attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Experience working with various types of mechanical devices preferred
