Shift Hours: 2nd shift – Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:15pm

Compensation: $19.00/hr plus $0.50 shift premium for 2nd

The Machine Operator 1 is responsible for:

The Operator 1 is a Liquibox production role enabling the completion of tasks such as basic machine operation, inspecting and packing as well as material handling. Development in this role will lead to ownership of machine operation (Operator II) to further career advancement and productivity. The essential function of the Operator I will be to maintain the bag line safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Day-to-day, you can find yourself working on:

• Primary role is to support auto-packer units.
• Basic machine operation: Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
• Supply raw materials to the production floor, pack finished goods, and lifting boxes of materials to load machines.
• Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported for review and decision.
• Fill in and relieve for other production support positions as assigned.
• Pushing and pulling rolls using operation of hoist to load on machine.
• Assistance in the responsibility for printing and supplying correct parts label.
• Making tape splices at the bag machine packing station.
• Training on process and material workflow to aid in supply of all raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies from the warehouse to machine.
• Complete all documentation accurately.
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Who you are:

• Education: High School Diploma.
• Experience: Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Specific Skills: Ability to read measuring tapes and product specifications with mechanical aptitude.
• Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jacks, machine hoists.
