Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Job Description

LaCosta is looking for a 2nd shift Janitor to join our team at our Spring Grove, IL location. You would be performing routine building cleaning under supervision, including trash removal, mopping, window cleaning, dusting, dust-mopping, and sweeping, furniture polishing, and policing grounds for litter. Must have ability to work with other crew members and take direction from supervisor, must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job duties.

Skills and qualifications:

• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them.
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces.
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds.
• Good organization skills.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners.
• Excellent time-management skills.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to wear required PPE (gloves when cleaning).
• Must be comfortable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, and bending.
• Must be comfortable lifting 40 lbs independently.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a industrial facility.
