General Purpose of the Job:

• Supervise off shift of onsite and offsite warehouse .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain finished goods inventory on a continuous basis to meet customer demands and shipment dates.
• Supervise the picking of orders, the scheduling of trucks, and the loading of trailers to ensure order accuracy while meeting first in, first out (FIFO) expectations.
• Approve loads in TMS and submit for pickup
• Schedule dock appointments for orders and facilitate shipping to meet delivery date and time.
• Supervise and work closely with the site’s customer service representative to achieve excellent and consistent customer service performance.
• Work closely with production manager to minimize over runs and waste product.
• Backup customer service
• Release loads in P2P.
• Take care of inventory report and correct customers over and shorts.
• Schedule all incoming loads and give appropriate appointment times.
• Update shipment reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure all required procedures are being followed and all documentation is completed in a manner that meets SQF standards.
• Examples but not limited to: Trailer Logs , Forklift logs, & Raw Material Log
• Maintain the condition of the warehouse in a manner that is consistent with the company’s 5S standards.
• Drive performance and develop the warehouse team in a manner that is consistent with the Continuous Improvement process.
• Interact with customers, drivers, vendors, auditors, and visitors in a manner that is consistent with Rudolph Foods’ mission and policy statements.
• Help facilitate training of employees

Safety Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:

• All inclusive.
• Forklift training, qualifying and disqualifying.
• Follow all food safety regulations working with USDA and keeping training moving forward.
• Ensure employees are following all safety regulations.

Education and/or Experience:

• Associates degree in related field or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have an understanding of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word.
• Must have a working knowledge of E21

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.Ability to Speak Spanish a plus but not required.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factors, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
