Strategic Account Manager (SAM)

Job Responsibilities:
This position resides in our Operations Department serving assigned customers. The SAM will maximize customer experience, vendor relations, team efficiencies and ensure profitability on their assigned accounts.
SAM will demonstrate company values while following guidelines and policies.
- Manage & develop a team of Account Coordinators to ensure a positive Customer Experience
- Own relationships with assigned customers, and ensure our service levels meet their needs
- Act as the customer advocate in reviewing estimates for service and repair projects
- Build collaborative relationships with the vendors and internal/external customers
- Ensure work orders receive appropriate attention and are resolved in a timely manner
- Oversee Preventative Maintenance contracts and implementation
- Prepare customer business reviews and collaborate with the sales team for customer growth opportunities
- Assist the A/R Collection Specialist (when asked) in the Account Receivable efforts
- Assist in Invoice Resolution with vendors and customers
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors’ degree preferred
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, and sound decision-making capabilities
- Knowledge of HVAC/R, and building automation would be a big plus
- Good working knowledge of PC operation and Microsoft Office programs
- Intermediate skills with MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Ability to maintain and strengthen relationships with key customer contacts
- Team leader and team player
- Ability to train & coach teams, around specific customer business needs, processes, and customer expectations
- Ability to make processes more efficient
- A few times a year limited travel to visit assigned customers/vendors for meetings
