An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
This position requires the planning, directing and overseeing of the Accounting Department Operations. This employee is responsible for overseeing and leading the work of the accounting department. Responsibilities include planning and maintaining work systems, procedures and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of our people and other resources. This position is second to the Accounting Manager.
Work with HR to recruit new Accounting Specialists, provide oversight and direction to the employees in the department. Coach, mentor and develop our staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate tasks and monitor progress. Foster a spirit of team work and unity among the department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
