Much More Than a Numbers Cruncher…..

As the Accounting Manager you’ll report directly to the Chief Operating Officer on the senior leadership team, you will play an instrumental role in charting the strategic direction of the department while keeping close tabs on day-to-day operating performance. The successful candidate will:

Key Responsibilities of this Position Include:

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements and reporting package.
• Analyze and interpret actual operating results and related variances to support management decision-making.
• Manage all accounting functions and internal controls.
• Analyze the performance of the operating locations and identify and address operating concerns.
• Prepare and monitor operating budgets and capital expenditures.
• Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of critical processes and systems.

Key Qualifications include:

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with solid progression and direct management responsibilities.
• Expertise in various accounting software’s, ERP systems and how they integrate from an accounting technology standpoint.
• Proficiency in cost accounting and cost allocation workflow management.
• Experience within high volume transaction business, preferably retail, real estate, and/or property.
• Experience with utilizing multiple financial systems and prior experience with system conversions.
• Proficiency in technical financial analysis including return on capital, lease vs. buy options, PV cash flows, capital structures, etc.
• Experience Developing, Implementing, and Maintain a Corporate vendor management program
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, clients and outside stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA and/or CMA credentials.

Competitive compensation package and equity position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Jacksonville, FL 32202: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
• solid progression and direct management responsibilities: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPA and/or CMA Credentials (Required)
