GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
To provide prompt, friendly, efficient service to students, general public, faculty and staff. Process various financial transactions for students accounts and maintains proper documentation and reports. Attention to detail and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Maintain composure in handling multiple priorities or challenging situations. Process and monitor billing and receive payments for several financial accounts such as third-party billings (both internal and outside agencies), petty cash, returned checks and childcare. Process and issue student id cards and parking decals. Receives immediate supervision from the Sr. Accountant, Student Accounts Receivables and exercises no supervision. NOTE: This is a security sensitive position, and an appropriate background investigation will be made on applicants being strongly considered for this position.

Interpret and apply Federal, State, and college law, rules, regulations, and policies. 8. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. 9. Maintain composure and keep conversations professional when discussing difficult topics. 10. Work independently or in a team. 11. Organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines. 12. Handle and balance money. 13. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, employees, and the public in the course of the job. 14. Interpret data to produce reports and documents.

WORKING CONDITIONS: *
Sedentary-Desk work; occasional field trips e.g. for college or program activates. Minimal Hazard/Exposure-Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Associate Degree from an accredited college or university (a minimum of 12 college credits plus relevant work experience may be substituted for required degree).
Experience: More than one year of professional work experience.
