Showmen Supplies is a specialty distributor of lighting and electrical equipment in the entertainment and amusement industries. We are seeking an experienced accounting clerk to join our team.
Summary/Objective: The accounts payable clerk is an entry level position responsible for performing a variety of accounting and data entry functions. This role is responsible for the accurate entry of financial data into accounting systems.
Essential Functions
- Shared responsibility for data entry work necessary to ensure entries are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Review expense reports, process check requests, prepare and process payments.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Review records of accounts and input entries into proper accounts.
- Develop and implement proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies.
- Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience:
2 years experience in a data entry role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
