Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.
This role offers the flexibility to be hybrid with a preference for candidates to be local to the DFW area.

Job Summary
The
AR Specialist is responsible for invoicing, supporting collection efforts, maintaining accurate records, and reviewing account discrepancies. The Accounts Receivable Specialist interacts with external customers and internal employees to resolve AR related issues while maintaining a high level of customer service.
What you will do in this role
- Create invoices for clients, coordinate necessary follow-up, review outstanding invoices, and provide status reports.
- Send invoices to clients using email and vendor portals in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
- Provide billing and collections support to all users by answering questions, researching, and resolving issues and troubleshooting all problems.
- Setup new customer billing information and maintain current email information in the system.
- Generate AR statements according to the schedule, and on an ad hoc basis as needed.
- Verifying accuracy of account balances, compiling data, and preparing appropriate forms for distribution.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Participate in developing and documenting processes, procedures, and controls.
- Participate in month-end close AR functions.
- Additional billings/invoicing tasks/projects, as needed.
What qualifications you will need
- 2+ years of proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar accounting role.
- Healthcare experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
