Description of Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the customer service department supporting the Logistics business.
  • Enter and retrieve information using computer systems and applications to update records, obtain. information for others and respond to most questions and problems of internal and external clients.
  • Prepare routine and complex reports and paperwork.
  • Matching paperwork for daily manifests for deliveries
  • Provide directions for daily manifests – through pulling information from builder websites.
  • Follow up calling for B2B business to set up appointment times.
  • Assist Customer Service team with planning, coordinating and executing file management and organization.
  • Coordinate administrative activities with the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service Department.
  • Coordinate with other department personnel to complete all tasks assigned.
  • Utilize and maintain databases and spreadsheets using internal systems.
  • Support front desk reception activities.
  • Assist team members in their daily work activities as required.
  • Carry out special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter and able to work both independently and as a team member
  • Passion for supporting a customer-oriented business environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and PowerPoint
  • High attention to detail, exceptional accuracy, action-oriented, ability to work within stringent timelines and to collaborate across departments to achieve results

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED.
  • One plus year Administrative or Customer Service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in customer service position.
  • Experience in logistics administration or customer service.

Work Environment

  • Office space, open cubical environment
  • Ability to work at office work station on computer for a full 8-hour day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
