Job description
A large NY plumbing company is seeking an administrative assistant to join their team. The administrative assistant will act as a floater and be responsible for filling in with various functions as a part of the Customer Support Team. This may include typing estimates accuracy and sending them to the appropriate parties, filing and retrieving plans, relieving the Receptionist when needed and entering tickets into the computer systems.
OVERVIEW

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Type estimate/revisions and me oil completed estimates tor new construction, plumbing, plumbing service and HVAC installation deportment into the database and send to General Contractors/customers’ via email.
· Create estimate folders
· Organize/monitoring filing cabinets or all estimates weekly
· Organize plans to file and retrieve
· Coverage for receptionist when needed (includes logging drawings, mail, phone, driver sheets, etc.)
· Back-up the rest of the customer support department when needed - log in all requests for bids.
· Enter tickets into system
· Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma required
· Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate on all levels
· Ability to provide outstanding customer service skills with effective communication and professionalism
· Proficient in Microsoft Office -including Word, Excel and Outlook
· Must be able to display effective problem-solving techniques and hove the ability to work well with others while remaining calm in a high-volume and demanding environment
· Great organizational/tracking skills and the ability to accomplish day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· In-office 5-days per week
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and typing on a computer
· Ability to answer phone and direct calls to appropriate party
· May hove to stretch and reach when pulling or putting away plans
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
