About the Agency: MedAssist empowers patients facing medical challenges to thrive by addressing their needs with comprehensive access to services through care management. Our Agency is expanding and we are looking to add some great people to our team!

Position Overview: As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient business operations of the office. We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our employees, including management and executive staff by assisting in our company’s general administrative activities. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources & Technology.

General Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Answers phone calls, schedules meetings, and supports patients/visitors.
  • Carries out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, printing, mailing, etc.
  • Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects and expediting work results.
  • Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
  • Supports the Agency by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Provides support to ensure business files and physical documentation is accurate and appropriately stored.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
