Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative services for the child and adolescent department in Hattiesburg, MS. The Administrative Assistant position plays a vital role in Pine Belt's ability in coordinating communication between team members and operating/coordinating administrative services for the specified location.

- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written settings
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, required
- Ability to manage multiple projects and to complete assigned tasks on schedule
- Works directly with referral system receiving Service Authorizations, verifies accuracy, make corrections as needed.
- Requests ASPs, sends documents to referral sources as needed.
- Completes paperwork, purchases supplies, and maintains medical records.
- Provides quality assurance on medical records for content as needed and provides follow up.
- Completes duties as needed to ensure compliance with PBMHR and CARF standards.
