This position will manage administrative, financial, and expense reports as needed in an organized filing system of electronic documents that enables Auxiliary Services to access records in a timely manner. This position will also manage the front office, which includes supervising student employees, answering phones, and providing excellent customer service at the front desk.

Primary Duties:
Provide Administrative Support to Auxiliary Services
  • Manage administrative, financial, and expense reports as needed in an organized filing system of electronic documents that enables Auxiliary Services to access records in a timely manner.
  • Manage the front office which includes supervising student employees, answering phones, and providing excellent customer service at the front desk.
Provide Administrative Support for University Events Sales and Marketing Director
  • Create and maintain detailed reports of requests for rental space in the Occhiato Student Center.
  • Oversee contract details with external customers who rent space in the OSC, including but not limited to Department of Corrections.

Manage mail and package distribution
  • Manage database for mail and package delivery to students who reside in the residence halls and offices/departments located in the Occhiato Student Center.
  • Determine best way to set up shelves to hold packages for quick delivery when students arrive for pick up.
  • Maintain a file system to hold mail for Walking Stick apartment residents and offices in the student center.
  • Deliver mail daily to residence halls and place mail in student mailboxes
Supervise student workstudy positions
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise student work study positions for the Auxiliary Services office, the Ochiatto Student Center, and external event support staff.
Other Duties as Assigned
Support Auxiliary Services and Event Management staff when extra coverage is needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.
Substitutions
  • Appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year
    basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years customer service experience (in person, on the phone, and via email to internal and external customers)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Supervisory and scheduling experience
  • Cash register experience
Condition of Employment
Evidence of your being fully vaccinated for COVID-19, or applicable exemption, is required as a condition of employment with CSU Pueblo.
