GMH Associates’ is the parent company for the privately owned family of businesses that make up the GMH brand: GMH Communities and GMH Ventures.


The Administrative Support position is responsible for various tasks including but not limited to: receptionist and greeter for all guests, answers phone and follows up on all messages, back up for accounts payable duties, administrative office functions, general support duties, and daily filing needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Distributes all incoming and outgoing USPS mail daily including maintaining postage machine
  • Completes daily FEDEX and weekly FEDEX for all properties
  • Greets, directs, and welcomes all visitors
  • Serves as the first point of contact and screener for all incoming phone calls
  • Serves as first checkpoint of building security
  • Communicates regularly with building tenants, as needed
  • Distributes all incoming courier packages to recipients in a timely manner
  • Provides administrative support as needed for the accounting, HR, IT, and legal departments
  • Maintains and tracks inventory of office supplies, places orders, and maintains storage organization
  • Maintains office equipment such as copier, coffee machines, and postage machine
  • Assists with filing, scanning, photocopying, and other clerical duties, as needed
  • Assists accounts payable with data entry, new vendor set up, payments, and files
  • Maintains and updates phone directories for all business units
  • Distributes all anniversary gifts for all employees
  • Manages all key fobs for employees and updates, as needed
  • Communicates with building security systems for early office closures and locking
  • Assists with office event set ups and breakdown, as needed
  • Completes special projects and research, as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:


  • High school diploma, preferred
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize, and multi-task
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong customer service skills
