Position Summary:
UAA Admissions is seeking two highly motivated, organized individuals to serve as a Admissions Counselors. Ideal candidates will have an infinity for UAA and for higher education. Join a dynamic team of Admissions Professionals to recruit the next class of Seawolves.
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING:
Knowledge of academic programs and support services at UAA.
Familiarity with college search or admissions processes.
Professional experience with admissions, related to higher education.
Proven experience exercising initiative, decision making and self-discipline.
Ability to work with diverse student populations, including low-income, first generation, geographic regions, ethnic groups, high school, transfer and non-traditional students.
Experience working in a data-oriented and results driven admission office.
Familiarity with SalesForce CRM or similar CRM software.
Experience with public speaking.
