South Davis Community Hospital Campus is hiring a FT Respiratory Advanced EMT. Each of our services plays an important role in our organization’s mission to bridge a continuation of medical care for patients of all ages with high-quality, proven services, including: Long Term Acute Care (LTAC), step down ICU, post med surge, High Acuity Skilled Nursing.

SDCH is hiring a Full Time Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT). This respiratory position offers AEMTs a competitive pay rate and a variety of responsibilities. We offer an opportunity to collaborate with other medical professionals in a specialty care environment. We offer an opportunity to hone and elevate your AEMT skills by becoming proficient with adult and pediatric patients with advanced respiratory needs.

Advanced EMT Duties are: Code blue/rapid response duties - Patient assessment & treatment - Airway Management - Use of BVM - Oral Suctioning - NG placement and verification - Admissions/Discharges, unit transfers - A & B Monitors - Telemetry and 12 lead ECG - Glucose checks - Trach Care and Tracheal Suctioning- Wound Care/Dressing changes - IV/IO therapy - Phlebotomy procedures.

We are accepting resumes for a full time overnight position (7p-7a). Join our team and provide care to patients of all ages on our adult or pediatric unit. Successful applicants must have great people skills. This job requires a current CPR and AEMT. Past CNA, CMA, ambulance or phlebotomy experience with PALS & ACLS Certification is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
