Job Number: 1109

Riverside Research is seeking a full-time Aerospace Engineer to support the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting modeling and simulation activities. Candidates must be proficient in standard office software applications and capable of devising practical and sustainable solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Validate/verify aeronautical characteristics and performance of select aircraft (fixed and rotary) and missiles (air and ground launched)
  • Evaluate production workflows and software tools; identify enhancement opportunities to increase efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Prototype models using a variety of applications
  • Support program/project management activities as a secondary function

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, aeronautical, astronautical, mechanical engineering or related fields
  • 5 years' experience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community as an aerospace engineer
  • Familiarity with AFSIM, AMBER, EWIRD, ITASE, and TMAP
  • Familiarity with MATLAB and SOLIDWORKS
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Open to occasional travel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) intelligence analysis and production processes
  • Familiarity with various NASIC contract vehicles such as ATEP II, MEGASTAR, NOVASTAR and COMET
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Service Now, and MS Power BI
  • Master's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history or related field
  • Professional certifications in project management, contracting, requirements management, and/or lifecycle logistics (e.g. PMP, DAWIA)
