POSITION PURPOSE - Supports The Home Depot's Risk Management Department by assessing risks within all areas of the company, supporting regulatory/organizational needs of the department, and assisting in the execution of Risk Financing projects consistent with Risk Management's philosophy.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -

• Support insurance renewals, including the collection and validation of exposure data, completion of renewal applications, and creation of underwriting presentations for Property, Casualty, Financial and International coverages.
• Manage and maintain insurance policy schedule including the review of all binders, policies, and endorsements for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain compliance of self-insured and monopolistic Workers' Compensation programs for the U.S. and Canada, including submission of payroll, loss data, renewal applications, assessments, etc.
• Support semi-annual actuarial review process by validating accuracy of loss data and assisting in the creation of multivariate regression models to forecast potential reserve changes.
• Analyze loss data and prepare monthly KPIs for Director and Managers.
• Partner with Third-Party certificate tracking company to validate insurance coverages and limits of merchandising, transportation, and servicing vendors.
• Support the business by providing Certificates of Insurances, insurance limit exceptions, etc. in accordance with departmental SLA.
• Aid in the monthly reconciliation of our annual insurance premium budget.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of TPA check registers to THD banking accounts.
• Review contracts and insurance coverage to determine acceptability in line with Home Depot's risk tolerance.
• Other projects as assigned.

NATURE AND SCOPE - Typically reports to Director of Risk Management with no direct responsibility for supervising others.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass the Background Check.
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.

EDUCATION REQUIRED - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 1-5

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - ARM or CPCU preferred. Knowledge of risk analysis. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Experience working with large data sets. Proficiency in Excel, including knowledge of Pivot Tables, Vlookup functions, If/Then functions, and PowerPoint.
