Lewis Brisbois is seeking Appeals Specialists to work with our nationwide team. This would be a hybrid/remote position.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in all facets of the electronic billing appeals function for insurance defense matters which may include multiple payors, SIRs and other complex billing arrangements.

Must have excellent technology and communication skills and a high level of professional accountability in order to timely manage and submit invoice appeals to various electronic billing vendors. Must be organized and possess strong attention to detail. Must understand and demonstrate a high level and commitment to customer service, confidentiality, professionalism, and interpersonal skills, as the role requires interaction with peers, staff, attorneys and partners with high volume and complex client requirements, as well as clients and senior management amid a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

The following list of essential functions is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned in addition to those listed. The items listed are considered daily functions associated with this position.

· Research and resolve invoice deductions

· Consistently meet appeal deadlines

· Assist with supervisors in Aderant conversion

· Assist with inquiries and special projects as needed

· Assist Billing Submission Specialists as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
