We’re looking for 1st shift Assemblers for a top-of-the-line manufacturing company in Cedar Park.

This position is responsible for manufacturing large items using basic hand tools as well as lifting and moving sheet metal. Candidates need to have flexible available hours and be available for overtime. This is a great first or summer job for recent high school graduates, especially those with applicable CTE course experience. Shielding/Acoustic Assembler

Shift: Monday to Friday 6AM to 4:30PM with Saturdays as needed 6AM to 12PM

Pay Rate: $15.00

What you'll be doing:

• Living heavy materials
• Assembling and gluing acoustic panels together
• Shaking debris off of heated parts
• Assemble various size doors that attach to testing chambers
• Lamination of wall materials for test chambers
• Assembling components for small rooms for various components of test chambers that are used in the testing of telecommunications equipment

What you'll be doing:

• Facilitate movement of all materials completed through each work center in a timely manner
• Following the sequence in job routings, record and process job moves in the data collection system
• Package and label items in preparation for the next process
• Verify all parts are identified with the correct item number
• Work with "Outside Services" personnel to coordinate movement of all items that require an Outside process
• Print jobs and dispatch reports daily in order to flow materials in the necessary order to meet deadlines

What we're looking for:

• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 50lbs
• 2 to 4 years of material coordinator experience
