Positions Supervised: N/A

Schedule: M-Th – 6am – 4:30pm, overtime as requested on Fridays

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist in all areas of the assembly department in order to ensure the availability of accessories for final assembly of Handy products, assist with packaging of customer orders and other parts. The goal of the Assembly team is to strive for efficiency and accuracy to create superior end products for our customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Packaging

• Conduct visual quality control checks on each part

• Identify applicable product manuals

• Identify applicable labels

• Package and box products and accessories

• Count finished parts

• Track inventory and communicate needs

• Perform all inspections and document as required

Lely Assembly

• Follow standard work instructions

• Use small hand/power tools to assemble spreaders

• Operate a hoist

• Package and box products and accessories

• Count and maintain appropriate level of parts inventory

• Perform inspections and document as required

Prepare and organize accessories for all Handy products

• prepare small assemblies and package parts for assemblies

Operate Pemsert machine

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Maintain a high level of attention to detail

Comfortable with repetition

Listen to and follow step-by-step instructions

Work well on a team

Communicates well with others

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Metal fabrication environment with shop floor experience is a plus

Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers is helpful
