Job description
As a critical member of the plant finance team, the Assistant Controller will provide support to the Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Prepare reports and statements related to plant financial matters and ensure quality and timeliness of entry to Corporate Accounting and Plant Operating Departments.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecast.
- Prepare and issue monthly reports and statements related to plant financial (performance) and ensure quality and timeliness of entry to corporate accounting and plant operating departments.
- Assist in providing accurate month and year-end closing activities, including Journal Entries and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset and tooling ledgers.
- Prepare for and participate in all internal and external accounting related audits.
- Participate in quarterly physical inventories as assigned.
- Manage Accounts Receivable.
- Utilize delay time constructively by doing housekeeping or other area improvement activities.
- Personal attendance record should remain in compliance with company guidelines.
- Able to work overtime as assigned.

What We Need from You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience (experience in a manufacturing environment preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)including a high degree of Excel proficiency.
- ERP system experience.
- Knowledge of Odyssey is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal relations skills.
- Excellent project and time management, organizational, and follow-up skills with strong problem-solving capabilities, analytical skills, and an ability to multitask.
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced, multicultural work environment with frequent interruption, changing priorities and maintain priorities to meet deadlines.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Discretion around sensitive company and employee information.
- Approach work assignments in a positive manner and function as a team member.
