We are seeking a hard-working Assistant Kitchen Manager who is passionate about people and serving others! This person will be responsible for the daily operations of our high-volume, fast-paced environment— including overseeing the kitchen, dining room, and guest experience. The ideal candidate will be a positive, inclusive, and motivating leader.

This is a different kind of Assistant Kitchen Manager position. This position is for a person who loves to cook, take the lead, and has a passion for training. You will work directly with the owner of the business. It’s a 40 hour work week position with flexibility. You will oversee a staff of 15 with many staff working their first-ever job.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of kitchen management experience, fast food is a plus
- Learns quickly and trains others patiently
- Makes quick, strong business decisions
- Enjoys staying busy and multitasking
- Comfortable using a computer

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE...
- Assist managing the facility, equipment, and property
- Uphold consistency of food quality and timeliness
- Maintain restaurant sanitation and safe food handling
- Oversee food purchasing, waste, and inventories
- Handle cash accurately and honestly
- Assist managing payroll and scheduling
- Interview, hire, teach, and train staff as needed
- Maintain employee relations and morale
- Ensure a high level of guest experience and satisfaction
- Establish and build community relations

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
