Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is currently seeking an Assistant Manager for our Royal Oak, MI Location.

Qualified candidates must be charismatic, loyal, dependable, dedicated, experienced, and a natural leader. They must have a passion for this industry and truly understand customer service

• Minimum 2 years' management experience in a full-service or QSR restaurant.

• Working knowledge of all aspects of front and back of the house operations

• General understanding of Culinary operations

• Strong Work Ethic / Integrity / Passion / Dependable

• Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire others to perform

• Ability to Inspect restaurant for cleanliness and supervise cleaning at the conclusion of each shift

• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines

• Maintain the highest standards of quality in food as well as service

• Recruiting, develop and supervise staff

• Ability to accurately complete employee scheduling

• Meets or exceeds company sales and profit expectations while maintaining standards in all areas.

• Forecast business trends for company operations

• Monitor repairs and maintenance issues

• Monitor morale of the staff and check in with all employees on a regular basis

• Ensure that food quality and guest experience meet brand standards at all times

• Looks for ways to improve throughput and productivity by streamlining operations to improve food cost, labor cost, and operating expenses by systemically reviewing processes and implementing cost control measures

• Ensure compliance with all company standards, and brand standards

• Actively seek input for key business decisions, and providing sound business advice and allocation of useful resources

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
