Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will report directly to the General Manager and help with all of the day to day aspects of managing a very fast paced restaurant.

Responsibilities and Duties

• This position will Supervise, coordinate and assist the General Manager with the front of house operations.
• Assisting the General Manager in coordinating and overseeing restaurant operations including customer service, employee development and relations, production, and administrative requirements.
• Also assumes the duties and responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence.
• Management of staff including mentoring, performance management, and disciplinary action.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 2 years experience in restaurant management
• Detailed and diverse food, bar, and beverage experience
• Working knowledge of restaurant POS system (Aloha preferred)
• Experience with internet software, spreadsheet and word processing software
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule up to 50 hours per week including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.
