Linde Services Inc. is currently seeking a talented professional to become our Associate Director of Technical Business Development located in The Woodlands, TX office. This seasoned individual has expert knowledge of sales and business development and is accountable for identifying, developing, and signing new business opportunities jointly with the sales organization by leveraging technical knowledge and LSI’s technology portfolio. This position will also be accountable for providing guidance and strategic oversight on a national level for all of LSI’s service offerings.

Reporting Relationships:

This position reports to the President of LSI for general guidance and direction.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Identify new opportunities/markets using your technical knowledge of refining, chemicals
and petrochemicals.

· Assist Account Managers by providing technical guidance throughout sales lifecycle.

· Spot opportunities for new business from a technology point of view.

· Be inventive in finding solutions for technical commercial challenges.

· Accountable for delivering the assigned area / industry targets for revenue derived from
new business acquisition and growth at existing customer sites.

· Generate leads and strategies by identifying, researching, and analyzing both developed
and growth markets. Initiate, structure, and implement market initiatives, growth
campaigns, and associated customer communications.

· Establish and grow relationships with potential customers, industry consultants, and vendors.

· Partner with internal business partners including sales, R&D, and BD utilizing all available Linde resources to achieve goals.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of Bachelor's Degree. Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Petrochemical Engineering preferred.

· Minimum of 7 years of experience in consultative sales.

· Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Comfortable presenting to internal and external clients

· Up to 30% travel required.

· Experience within the industrial gases industry is strongly preferred.

· Knowledge of Refinery or Chemical Plant processes is a strategic advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
