SCOPE

Responsible for the implementation, administration and support of personal computers, mobile devices, associated software and audio / visual devices / Manufacturing equipment / networking support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• As directed, provides technical support for application system upgrades, and may assist in monitoring changes to operating system software.
• May be involved in analyzing performance and implementing changes to ensure the stability of personal computers.
• Proactively assists in monitoring and maintaining personal computers.
• As directed, troubleshoots system problems; provides solutions and /or recommendations.
• Follows operating procedures and systems best practices.
• Responsible for technical and professional activities.
• Presents findings and makes recommendations to internal &/or external clients
• Analyzes possible solutions and makes recommendations within area
• Support conference room A/V solutions and assist users with connections.
• Decisions based upon analysis of various alternatives, within precedents
• Receives guidance and direction; discretion and independent judgment is required
• Provide Executive support as required
• After hours support.
• Smartphone / tablet device troubleshooting and activation.
• Ordering computer supplies as required.
• Deploy new hardware as scheduled.
• Hardware / software installation and support
• Knowledge of Service request system (Microfocus) application.
• Meet all Service level targets.
• Manage multiple assignments and escalations.
• Manage local machines in spider asset system
• Participate in IT Projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 year IS technical degree desired
• Minimum 2-3 years related experience
• CompTia A+ certification recommended
• Dell certified desirable
