Associate Specialist- Stryker Lab
Department of Physiology
University of California, San Francisco
The Stryker lab seeks a scientist to advance knowledge in the field of visual perception for a 30% time appointment. The applicant will train mice using a virtual reality system comprising a floating styrofoam ball and will code in Unity, Matlab and for Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
The applicant must possess a PhD in neuroscience, have at least 6 years of experience training mice using a virtual reality system comprising a floating styrofoam ball, and be fluent coding in Unity, Matlab and for Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Moreover, the applicant must also have at least 3 years of experience in eye tracking and gaze analysis, as well as experience managing an automatic watering system. Post-graduate training in field is preferred.
