Mission Oaks Veterinary Clinic in Camarillo is searching for a veterinarian to join our team on a Full-time or Part-time basis. The ideal candidate for the position will be an experienced, progressive veterinarian that maintains continuing education to stay current in the latest diagnostics and treatments available. A self-motivated recent grad (preferably with internship training) displaying a strong desire to continue learning and practice strong practical medicine and surgery will be considered.

As an independently-owned private practice, we promote an environment of collaborative medicine without any restrictions on reasonable diagnostics or treatments. We are also open to incorporating new modalities, therapies, and special interests to benefit our patients and satisfy niches (i.e. acupuncture, physical therapy, etc…).

Our staff is tight-knit, well trained, and led by a full-time hospital manager. Multiple team members have been on staff for over 4 years, indicating a positive, productive work environment. With a strong team of doctors and staff, work days are low stress, though busy. We enjoy laughing together!

Our recent expansion is well designed to include all the necessary facilities to continue providing high quality medicine and surgery, including a dental suite with digital dental radiology. The client space is tastefully designed to provide a calm and comfortable, fear-free environment for the patient and the client.

Camarillo is a great place to live, and to practice veterinary medicine. Clients here are very dedicated to their pets with strong demographics to allow for good medicine to be practiced in almost every case. It is a very quiet and friendly city with many things to do in the local area to maintain your healthy life/work balance. We have a great climate for many outdoor activities from the mountains to the sea. Great schools and parks.

Competitive salary and benefits package including:

· $150,000 base salary – based on a 5d x 8hr week, negotiable depending on experience, ($120k for 4 day week)

· ProSal bonus program over base – 25% on services, 10% on meds

· Group PPO AnthemBC Health Insurance stipend

· $1,500 yearly CE stipend

· DEA, AVMA, CVMA, SBVVMA dues

· 2 weeks PTO

All licenses must be current and in good standing.
