Work on cloud transformation effort, move application components to AWS, update code, and create/run CICD pipeline

Understand the application code with minimal assistance and resolve bugs/defects/performance issues identified

Use best practices to help us optimize for developer productivity, reliability, and scalability

Builds prototypes, products, and systems that meet the project quality standards and requirements
-
Write clean, testable and maintainable code on the back end of operations.

Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Ensure optimal performance of the database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
-
Follow development practices and actively advocate for improvements that helps us build better products.

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers.
-
Collaborate with front-end developers on the integration of elements.

Collaborate with DevOps to ensure optimal architecture is used for optimal scalability and security.
-
Document processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.

Keep informed of advancements in the field of used technologies as well as best practices.

7+ years of experience in designing and building robust, efficient, and distributed backend systems including microservices
-
Good fit for our stack: GraphQL, Node.js, Typescript, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, AWS (ECS, SQS, SNS, S3, Cognito, Lambda).

Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.

Understanding of general software development patterns and architecture patterns.

Experience with unit testing, automated testing frameworks, and Continuous Integration (Continuous Deployment is a nice to have)

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude. Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills (proficient in English).

Experience in working in remote, international teams.

Hands-on AWS (Amazon Web Services) experience

Strong architectural and algorithm skills
