JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW

Benefits Core Services provides benefits expertise and the administration of TriNet’s benefits offerings to TriNet customers, WSEs and internal TriNet teams.

We collaborate with all our internal teams to assess escalated matters to research, perform root cause analysis, and determine resolution for the best outcome for both TriNet and the customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver superior written and verbal customer service

  • Resolve moderate to complex inquiries from customers and internal groups, escalating to internal expertise as appropriate

  • Serves as mentor to less tenured peers

  • Audit work of benefits transactions

  • Communicates and resolves benefits related inquiries for internal and external customers via phone, email, or chat

  • Performs initial research for cases and resolve mid- high level complexity tasks, escalating to other internal expertise as appropriate

  • Manage and resolves open cases in the CRM system (SalesForce) with a high emphasis on timeliness and quality

  • Triage of benefits inquiries to ensure the appropriate team members are involved for complete resolution

  • Assist customers in understanding the company and employee costs of their benefits offerings and per pay period deductions and contributions

  • Provides support and expertise regarding compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Assist customers with guidance and compliance for employee level changes that impact benefits or benefits eligibility; including outbound contact with role holders when required

  • Provide benefits expertise and TriNet eligibility rules guidance of mid to high level complexity including Domestic Partners, Dual Enrollment and Overage/Disabled Dependents

  • Assist customers with providing HRProd queries to support their data request related to benefits

  • Carrier deductibles and credit guidance for new and existing customers

  • Customer level BSS and funding support

  • Escalated issue resolution including inbound and outbound support

  • Identifies process enhancement opportunities

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education & work experience.
