Billing Specialist/Virtual Utah

The Role
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a billing subject matter expert for a particular product or service
- Assist in coordinating weekly billing cycles and issuance of system generated invoices
- Research and explain complex monthly variances to management
- Preparation and maintenance of manual AR invoices
- Research and resolve AR & GL interface errors
- Work with sales to support product evaluation and customer retention programs
- Support management of customer assets
- Collaborate with customers and field team to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors
- Provide timely, clear, and accurate response to internal and external customers.
- Assist in month end close and compliance with internal controls, occasionally includes working evenings and/or weekends
- Assists with training for Associate Billing Specialists
Special projects and AdHoc requests regularly.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Microsoft Office products intermediate experience
- Oracle ERP experience a PLUS.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of contract principles, types, and terms
- Intermediate proficiency with CRM and CPQ tools
- Organization, time management and prioritization abilities
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- High Speed Internet in a private setting
- Ability to sit at a desk and be available for customer phone calls for extended periods of time
- 2+ years prior billing experience in a major ERP
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
