This position is responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory compliance by maintaining responsive and collaborative relationships with internal and/or external business partners. This position utilizes regulatory knowledge to review processes and implements solutions to resolve complex problems.

This role will involve heavy travel; a willingness to travel 60% of the time will be necessary. Must live reasonably close to an airport for access to air travel connections. Success in this role will require an ability to function in unconventional work situations and locations (airports, garages, hotels, home office, etc.).

Work independently and with little supervision while conducting onsite branch examinations of field partner offices. Use knowledge of the securities industry and firm policies to advise field partners on compliance issues. Apply knowledge of industry regulations to branch operations scenarios and situations.

What you do

  • Conducts branch office examinations as needed and/or addresses concerns as they arise.
  • Make recommendations to field partners to comply with firm policies to mitigate regulatory risk.
  • Review and respond to internal and external correspondence.
  • Communicate with internal and external business partners to promote their understanding and compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain and promote an awareness of regulatory changes affecting the business; implementing necessary revisions; and informing appropriate internal/external parties.
  • Accountable for certain department projects that may impact the enterprise.
  • Develop and provide training and guidance to internal and/or external business partners and team members.
What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 2-4 years related broker dealer industry experience required
  • FINRA Series 7 required.
  • Previous audit experience desired. Securities sales supervision experience or other applicable broker dealer experience could substitute for audit experience.
  • FINRA Series 24 desired. If not held, must be willing to pursue within 180 days of joining.

Salary range $74,737 to $112,106 per year.
