Description

Cloudmed is currently seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join the AR & Denials team. The candidate needs to have a comprehensive understanding of how to use data, effectively analyze large data sets and create outputs that will help the business better make critical decisions. This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the leadership team with data mining, collection, analysis and interpretation as it relates to internal and external meetings, workflow analysis and process improvement.
• Utilize data visualization and analysis software including but not limited to: PowerBI, Python, and Excel to generate internal and external reporting.
• Leverage SQL to analyze company databases and develop business reports for SL leadership, Finance, and Commercial.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize internal processes and client reporting through SQL automation.
• Recommend and assist in implementation of techniques and processes to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of potential revenue expanding opportunities.
• Interpret client inventory, metrics and key performance indicators for internal and external meetings.
• Assist in developing finance, business, and sales presentations as well as related support materials.
• Attend and/or manage data driven meetings as necessary with internal and external parties.
• Act as primary point of contact for specialized and complex client-facing and internal reporting.
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines to create PowerBI datasets and develop real-time analytical dashboards in PowerBI using M and DAX languages.
• Follow all HIPAA guidelines

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of data analysis and/or analytical experience in root cause analysis or financial planning
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management, Business, Accounting, Finance, Health Information Technology or related discipline
• Intermediate skills in SQL, Python, Power BI

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess background or certification in data science
• Proven track record of working and influencing a fast-paced, multi-unit / multi-region organization at all levels
• Strong understanding of the revenue cycle and the appeal process
• Strong quantitative and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Creative problem solver with outstanding oral and written communication skills
• A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to connect with and motivate people
