Summit Medical Consultants is recruiting for a full time Business Development Assisted Living Services Representative to join as a member of our administrative team. This position will work under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager. This is a salaried exempt position.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop strategy to enable organizational expansion into new geographies by prospecting, educating, and acquiring new target accounts in the ALF setting
  • Support Summit’s growth strategy through identification, assessment and execution of potential accounts
  • Identify potential unique partnerships, develop relationships, and translate partnerships into competitive position and organizational assets
  • Serve as spokesperson externally and represent the organization
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key decision makers in all targeted accounts
  • Conduct market research and analysis
  • Develop referral sources and establish relationships
  • Create development of sales materials including PowerPoint presentations, flyers, events etc.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values and culture
  • Serve as resource to internal teams to translate goals and strategic direction
  • Build local relationships to influence program design and ensure competitive positioning
  • Develop a clear understanding of the political dynamics related to the growth opportunity and partner with internal and external resources to ensure optimal organizational position
  • Identify opportunities and manage the selling process including facilitating negotiations and reaching closure on new business opportunities

What you need to succeed

  • Self-starter with a track record of successful lead follow-up and sales development at multiple executive levels within an organization
  • Serves as expert for targeted growth opportunities
  • Strategic and growth mindset
  • Identifies and resolves issues in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information; solicits feedback and uses reason when dealing with emotional topics
  • Solid system thinking to manage enterprise-wide alignment of organizational systems
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation and relationship management skills with business partners

Qualifications

  • 3 years of sales, account management, marketing, or business development experience
  • Experience working with Assisted Living Facilities; working knowledge of business practices of Assisted Living
  • Current LPN License
  • 3 years of nursing experience
  • Ability to build key customer relationships with the ability to educate
  • Ability to independently travel up 40-60% as needed both locally and non-locally
  • The ideal candidate will have established healthcare contacts and will be able to readily network in the community

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
