Our mission is to provide kitchen workspace, storage, event space, film/photo shoot space, as well as a full suite of business support services for a variety of food production needs. Job Description:

e.terra is looking to strengthen and grow and increase our sales as we expand. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for driving the outbound sales process of identifying leads, targeting food & beverage businesses, prospecting leads and working. You will also be working closely with our Community Manager and Brand Ambassador to support their efforts with onboarding new members into our 2 Harlem and upcoming Upper East Side location. Active networking, external outreach, email campaigns and cold calling is an active part of this position.

The Business Development Specialist’s role is to engage with current and potential members in the NYC Metro market to continue to build our brand recognition in the hospitality industry through community outreach, networking, events and guerrilla marketing. The BD Specialist shares passion for the brand and our Company's history while educating and introducing new customers to the benefits of an on-demand customizable commercial kitchen and support services. The BD Specialist is a real-life extension of our brand, the first point of contact with all new inquiries, and therefore performs a critical role for our company. As we expand beyond NYC into new markets, you will contribute to generating and executing on sales pipelines in those regions as well.

We are looking for someone with:

· Excellent communication and organizational skills and highly responsive

· Capable of strategically leading client-facing conversations

· Who works well both independently and in a team environment

· Excellent knowledge of the culinary space, specifically NYC area, but also any national brand opportunities (e.g. some times chefs and various corporations are in NYC for events and need a commercial kitchen space)

· 3+ years of sales experience (B2B or B2C) with relevant experience in CATERING, COWORKING, GYM MEMBERSHIP SALES preferred

· Ability to foster positive relationships

· Ability to stay composed and collected under pressure or in client-facing situation

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM (Pipedrive, Salesforce, other)

· Commitment to company standards and culture.

· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

· Ability to work collectively with team members.

· Strong multitasking skills, strategic mindset, and ability to track predefined metrics and goals.

· Outgoing individual who is an excellent listener and is energized by engaging with new customers in a caring way

· Takes initiative, is organized, and detail oriented.

· HS Diploma or GED required; 2 or 4-year degree preferred

· Hold a valid NYS Food Handlers certificate or be willing to sit for the exam

· Base Salary + commission, with earning potential of $50K to 90K+
