We are growing our team and Weelborg as an exciting opportunity for a Business Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager in their New Ulm, MN location.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Business F&I Manager is responsible for helping customers obtain the financing they need to purchase the vehicle of choice while completing the required documentation for each financing transaction.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities are not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time:
Offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers and provide them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
Contracts new business, turns closed deals to finance, converts cash deals to finance, acquires approval from lenders, creates and maintain quality business relationship with lenders, and verifies paperwork involved with cash, finance or loan transactions.
Seeks new lending institutions and maintain good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs, processes financing and leasing deals accurately and secure approval through financial sources, promotes gap and aftermarket products, reviews and communicates with lenders, managers and customers daily to make sure deals are processed within the same day to minimize delays in funding.
Understands factory incentives, rebates and sub-vented rates & qualification as well as collect all supporting documentation, solicits extended warranty sales (aftermarket), handle all cancellations for extended warranties and gap, remits and registers policies with factory (i.e. ESP, Maintenance, etc.), and collects and verifies all documents required by dealer, factory and lender.

- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 5+ years automotive experience in sales and finance preferred.
- Industry specific software experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with DMS & CRM systems preferred.
SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday and every other Saturday.
