Boeing is looking for a Business Systems Analyst (Level 3) for our Dallas, TX facility to assist in advancing Boeing Global Services' mission critical initiatives & preparing our business for the future. The Business Systems Analyst will be an integral member of the Boeing Global Services Supply Chain within the Business Systems Analysis team. Responsibilities will include identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. This position will plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; creates specifications for processes and/ or systems to meet business requirements. The selected candidate will act as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new processes and/or systems, and enhancement of existing processes and/or systems. This position prepares communications and makes presentations on process and or system enhancements and/or alternatives; and, prepares & facilitates training, performs analysis of complex issues and improve operational effectiveness.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas, TX

Position Responsibilities:

• Adheres to documented procedures that are compliant with department’s policies and procedures

• Develops planning and execution of unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.

• Develops training for employees regarding workflow processes for applications, databases, and operating systems.

• Supports projects involving complex analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems.

• Formulates and designs details of automated systems.

• Utilizes technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

• Configures system settings and options.

• Formulates complex scripts for mass queries / data loads.

• Provides consultation and guidance to users in the area of automated systems.

• Follows software development methods, process, and implementation.

• Leads special projects, initiatives and other duties as assigned.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Experience in Supply Chain Processes

• Ability to translate business requirements to for the development/enhancement of business applications

• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve issues

• Ability to interface with cross-functional teams

• Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred

• Experience in gathering requirements, designing solutions, execution of user acceptance testing, planning implementations and deploying solution

• Knowledge of core business and applications

• Experience in analyzing and documenting business processes

• Excellent facilitation skills to collaborate with customers/business peers through decision making process

• Ability to identify risks and issues

• Ability to lead and mentor peers

• 6+ years’ experience in a relevant Business Systems Analysis position

Typical Education/Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 14 years' related work experience)
