Family Health Centers, Inc.(FHC) is a not-for-profit community health center. FHC is seeking hiring for Call Center Specialist I. The Call Center Specialist I is responsible for admitting and registering patients over the phone for health care services at Family Health Centers (FHC). for receiving, admitting, and registering patients for health care services at FHC.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High school graduation or its equivalent.
  • Three months of clinical/clerical experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or health care setting OR
  • Certification from a Medical Office Specialist, Medical Secretary, Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or other medical clerical program.
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted, as determined applicable by Civil Service.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Must be available to work extended hours as necessary. Must provide own transportation to work at other FHC locations as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Family Health Centers provides necessary PPE and other preventative measures to protect our staff from COVID-19. Masks are required to be worn at FHC. Staff are required to have COVID-19 vaccination or request medical or religious exemption.
