- CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP FACILITATOR
- Mon-Fri, 40 hrs per week (evening availability required as needed)
Rate of Pay:
- $20.58 / Hourly, Non-Exempt
LOCATION:
- C.A.R.E.S./Home Services-13576 Camino Del Sol #22 Sun City West
Requirements:
- 2 years working with older adults and/or caregivers in a support groups and/or counseling.
or
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services/Counseling or related area desire plus 1 year working with older adults and/or caregivers in a support group and/or counseling.
- Understanding of working in grant-funded programs and the data/stat reporting required.
Position Summary:
Plan and facilitate caregiver support groups, connect with caregivers to provide needed resources, and act as liaison between C.A.R.E.S. and Life Enrichment Programs for caregiver nurture efforts. Maintain consistent and positive communication with Benevilla caregivers at all points on their caregiving journey, and complete Benevilla Support Groups. This position provides emotional, social, and/or educational support to all members who attend the Support Groups.
