Job Summary:

Our company is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team. We specialize in commercial projects that include office buildings, restaurants, and medical facilities. We also have occasional residential jobs so we need someone who has experience working in diverse settings. The ideal candidate will have his or her own vehicle and personal hand tools and be willing to travel mostly around Northern Colorado and, on occasion, the Denver area. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements
• Build walls, doorways, staircases and other parts of a building structure by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures

Skills/Qualifications: 1+ years’ experience in rough carpentry (framing, siding, etc.)

• Extensive knowledge of power tools
• Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation to job sites
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time
• Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow safety guidelines at all times
• Regular attendance and punctuality to all job sites
