Position Overview
Establish and implement a marketing vision and strategy that drives guest engagement and improved revenue for each of Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort’s core business units including, but not limited to, hotels, restaurants, bars, sportsbook, and gaming.
Create, implement, and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing, communication, and public relations program to enhance the property’s image and position within the marketplace.
Core Responsibilities
- Be the expert for editorial direction, copy writing, and presentation of all Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort publications, both online and offline.
- Create and implement gaming, hotel, and food and beverage promotions and events under the direction of resort management.
- Is a catalyst for innovating new ideas, events, and promotions that drive incremental resort revenue.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and their development with both internal and external partners in a collaborative and productive manner.
- Monitor all Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort marketing avenues such as our website, in-house digital displays, signage, social media, offline media, and app to ensure all content is up-to-date and accurate while providing recommendations to maximize messaging effectiveness.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure prompt delivery of marketing materials and retail merchandise.
- Identify weaknesses in existing marketing campaigns and develop pragmatic solutions to overcome them.
- Regularly communicate marketing initiatives, statuses, and metrics with casino management.
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant departments are kept informed and up to date on marketing details and objectives.
- Perform ongoing analysis of our competition’s marketing strategies and campaigns and formulate a marketing plan of action for success.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing, communications, and public relations with demonstrated success. Hospitality & casino industry experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or public relations.
- Advanced skills with marketing metrics, Microsoft Office apps, digital image/video editing, and marketing related apps.
- Excellent public speaking and writing skills.
- Must pass a background check and obtain a South Dakota Commission on Gaming Support License within 30 days of hire.
