LOCAL POSITION: PART TIME HOURS, PAID FOR 40 HOURS

Bulktran is looking for an experienced and highly reliable truck driver to join our growing company on a dedicated account position. We haul dry bulk products in pneumatic tankers and are looking for a driver to safely and reliably load our trailers in the evenings. The driver will start in Carneys Point, drive to Camden, load the trailer, then return to Carneys Point. The driver will be required to properly clean excess powder from the truck and trailer after each loading.

This job requires FLEXIBILITY and RELIABILITY, which is why we are guaranteeing full time pay while only working up to 25hrs at present. You are being paid for your availability as much as your time on the job. Though low hours, the job MUST BE COMPLETED each night. The position will require 3-5 nights per week (5 most common), with most shifts being 7-11pm. Start and end times could vary by a few hours and driver is expected to be available through the night if required. Most weeks will be Monday through Friday, but occasional Saturdays will be required. Additional pay for Saturdays will be included.

Driver needs to have 2+ years driving experience and be very attentive to equipment to ensure it is always kept in great condition. This is a slip seat position- DRIVER MUST KEEP TRUCK IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, including wiping down interior after each shift.

This is a unique position that will pay extremely well for the amount of hours worked. While most shifts will be 4-5 hours, the driver will be expected to complete the job each night when delays happen. On rare occasion, driver may be required to unload a trailer (training will be provided). Most nights will require loading 1 trailer, with 2 required on occasion. The position may grow to full time hours with added pay and benefits. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to make a good income at reduced hours.

Requirements

• Must have a positive attitude and be courteous to coworkers and customers
• Class A CDL with 2 years tractor trailer experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Drug free
• Put safety above all else
• Must be reliable, on time and counted on every day
• Maintain schedule flexibility to deal with delays
• Able to commute to Carneys Point, NJ

Compensation

• $25/hr ($23 base wage + $2 safety bonus)
• 40 hours guaranteed
• Saturday bonus pay
